My Skincare Routine: Oil Cleansing Method

I recently switched up my skincare routine and I now use the Oil Cleansing Method (see here & here). I have very oily, acne prone skin so I use about 70% castor oil and 30% grapeseed oil. I also add in a few drops of tea tree oil for the times I have visible breakouts and then I dab tea tree oil on any bumps I see or feel forming. I had a few pesky pimples on Friday so before I went to bed I dabbed my tea tree oil on the spots and when I woke up Saturday morning they were almost gone. Score! So far I am loving the results and have been using the OCM for aout 2 weeks. My skin is a lot less oily (seriously I feel like an oil slick by the time I get to work sometimes and by lunch time I feel like going home to wash my face again) and dare I say but I am noticing smaller pores. Large pores is a major concern for me, so I am really happy with the results thus far. I purchased all of my products from Trader Joe’s & Whole Foods.
I do the OCM as my before bed skin routine and I also am using the Jolie MD 2-step system. In the morning I just wash my face with water in the shower with a clean washcloth and rub a bit of shea butter and tea tree oil on my face. I will post some before and after pics of my skin soon to document my progress. Stay tuned!
I am in no way an expert, but if you have any questions feel free to ask away.
